All figures on this page are estimates, not guarantees. They are generated from the values you entered and generic industry assumptions, and they do not constitute a quote, a forecast, or a commitment of results. Actual hours, costs, and outcomes vary with data quality, system access, team adoption, and scope.
Calculation assumptions
So you can sanity-check the numbers — or replace them with your own on a call.
- Working year
- 48 working weeks per year, allowing for holidays, leave, and downtime.
- Annual manual hours
- Employees × weekly hours × 48 weeks × a frequency factor (daily and weekly = 1.0, bi-weekly 0.85, monthly 0.7, quarterly 0.5).
- Hours saved
- Annual manual hours × the automation percentage you selected. We do not assume 100% automation is ever achievable.
- Labor savings
- Hours saved × your hourly labor cost. This represents redeployed capacity, not necessarily headcount reduction.
- Implementation range
- A build cost of roughly $12–$22 per annual hour saved, adjusted for your current tooling, with a minimum engagement floor of $4,500–$9,000.
- Payback & ROI
- Payback = midpoint implementation cost ÷ annual savings, in months. First-year ROI = (annual savings − midpoint cost) ÷ midpoint cost. Ongoing licence, hosting, and support fees are excluded.
These assumptions are deliberately generic so the model stays honest. A 30-minute discovery call replaces them with your real cycle times, data sources, and constraints — which is the only way to get a figure you can put in a budget.
